A Europe inclusive and accessible to all
At the European Network on Independent Living (ENIL), we dream of a Europe where all people, from children to elderly, will live independently in the community, with the support they need (such as personal assistance), and not in institutions or any other segregated settings. There should be no age criteria for this. Accessible and affordable housing will be available for everyone, as well as job opportunities in the open labor market. Schools will be inclusive and there will be lifelong learning opportunities for all. People, no matter of their age and impairments, will be involved in the decision making processes on all issues that affect them (from climate change to freedom of movement) and shape a better Europe for all.
